Our story

Envera was founded in 2013 to bring smart savings and peace of mind to the housing boards of apartment complexes. While our original focus was on producing energy certificates, we soon noticed that excessive water consumption was a critical issue to many of our customers. Based on that key piece of insight, we revised our offering and started providing water conservation services to our customers. However, it didn’t take us long to realize that infrequent consumption monitoring was costing our customers tens of thousands of euros every year, and since none of the existing monitoring systems reached our standards, we decided to build our own.

The demand for our remote water consumption monitoring service exceeded all of our wildest dreams. Encouraged by the overwhelmingly positive feedback from our customers, we pivoted into a SaaS business that offers remote monitoring of not only water but also electricity and district heating.Today, we’re a rapidly growing company with 30+ full-time employees and operations expanding across Finland, Sweden, the Baltics, and Germany. And while a lot of things have changed since we founded Envera in 2013, one thing has stayed the same: we owe every bit of our success to our fantastic team. That’s why we’ll continue to do everything in our power to make sure that our amazing culture keeps growing with the company.
