Accounts Receivable Specialist (Espoo, hybrid)

Because we have made it our mission to continuously ask the right questions and come up with the best solutions, we have grown from creating energy certificates to providing simple water-saving devices in Finland, to facilitating the remote monitoring of water consumption in real estate across Europe.

We have more than 70 employees, have offices in Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany and provide our full-service water efficiency and expertise on custom water strategies worldwide. Our remote monitoring service helps almost 8000 property owners in over 10 000 properties in 24 countries to stop flushing money down the drain.

Accounts Receivable Specialist (Espoo, hybrid)

Responsibilities and duties

  • Ensure that the external invoicing is managed correctly.
  • Cooperate with Sales and other customer interfacing functions, to ensure that the internal customer experience is impeccable.
  • Participate in developing the invoicing processes.
  • Manage the receivables and debt collection.
  • Assist your colleagues in the Finance team around any finance administration questions.

We expect

  • At least two years experience from finance administration, such as ledger and invoicing.
  • Ability to work with Excel. Experience from Oracle NetSuite and MS Dynamics 365 is a definitive advantage but not a requirement.
  • Relevant education (finance, commerce, admin)
  • Enthusiasm, attention to details and ability to digest information in changing environment.
  • Ability to maintain routines and quality standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, internally and externally, in multiple communication channels.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English, as you will work with local and international colleagues and customers. Other languages are an advantage.

Smartvatten is a rapidly growing water management service company with nearly 100 employees and operations expanding across Europe. As part of Smartvatten's internationalization, technology development strategy and roadmap, we are strengthening our R&D Team to meet the rising demand in the real estate industry. Thus, we are looking for two new

Software Developer / Senior SW Developer

 

Your main task is to maintain and develop the Smartvatten technology based on requirements and feedback from our customers worldwide according to our growth strategy guidelines and targets. The content of your role may partly form and further develop according to your background and interests as well as raising business needs.

You will work closely not only with your own team of about dozen professionals, but also with other teams at Smartvatten, such as Sales, Customer Excellence and Business development. As the business grows, so will the team size and scope which can mean exciting new areas to explore and paths to walk. Thus, we hope to welcome to our team someone thriving in growth company environment, with an explorer mindset. You can work remotely or at any Smartvatten office at Espoo, Kokkola, Tampere, Stockholm, or Amsterdam.

 

We are expecting that

You most probably have work experience in a relevant or applicable field, and you are familiar with one or several of these areas: Google Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes, Javascript / React, NodeJs, MongoDB / MySQL.

Your main task is to maintain and develop the existing Smartvatten technology based on the data retrieved from the products and our customers worldwide. Additionally, you’ll have a chance to involve yourself in and support the development of new services, according to our growth strategy. The content of your role may partly form and further develop according to your back-ground and interests as well as raising business needs.

You’ll get to use your expertise and motivation in data analysis in order to find the solutions to serve our customers even better. You’ll be supporting sales, productization and developing the existing and new products and services.

You’ll work closely not only with your own team of about dozen professionals, but also with sister organizations such as Sales, Customer Excellence and Business development. As the business grows, so will the team size and scope which can mean new exciting areas to explore and paths to walk. We are expecting that

You most probably have some years of work experience and/or interest in statistics, machine learning and /or algorithms. Quality and Compliance Specialist / Manager

 

Your main tasks

  • Drive the quality and compliance agenda and respond to raising requests nationally and internationally according to business needs.
  • Support and educate your colleagues and potentially our customers, suppliers and partners on compliance regulations and requirements.
  • Lead the needed quality certification (ISO) audits and ensure GDPR compliancy
  • Function as compliance and quality process and policy owner, including the relevant handbooks
  • Support in company M&A activities (such as audits) also in international setup
  • Perform 3rd party quality and risk assessments (subcontracting chain, purchasing) and review legal papers such as terms and conditions, procurement agreements and code of conduct.
  • Function as work safety manager

We expect you to

  • Have a relevant back-ground and experience from quality and/or compliance roles in one or several relevant fields of business (such as environmental sustainability, clean tech or technology).
  • Have an education from a relevant field (Bachelor, Masters)
  • Demonstrate independency and enthusiasm for quality and compliance field of expertise
  • Have proficiency in English and Finnish, other languages are seen as advantage
  • Track-record in working in truly international business environments
  • Interest and/or experience from ESG issues is an advantage
