Smartvatten and EnerKey, the market leaders in water metering and sustainable energy management, announce a cooperation

Smartvatten, a leading player in water metering, and EnerKey, the market leader in sustainable energy management, have entered into a partnership aimed at providing even more comprehensive water metering, energy management and sustainability services to end users of both companies’ SaaS services.
Powered by EnerKey platform solution provides the users of Smartvatten’s Master service with a high-quality sustainability and energy management service as a part of Smartvatten’s ecosystem. Smartvatten is already the leading player in water saving and water consumption monitoring services, so the aim was to create a partnership with the leading developer of energy management and sustainability SaaS.
“We have had good cooperation with EnerKey in the past regarding the transfer of water consumption data, but the strategic cooperation now announced enables our customers to have also excellent energy management and sustainability services. Both services naturally complement each other
From this collaboration EnerKey adds a strong partner to expand the growing ecosystem around Powered by EnerKey. The Smartvatten service complements Powered by EnerKey by providing even more extensive, real-time water metering services to end users. Smartvatten is naturally suitable for EnerKey’s SaaS service, which specializes in sustainability and energy management, while the water-saving service itself encourages more sustainable energy use. In this way, EnerKey’s value proposal to end customers “Sustainability & Savings” provides an even stronger base for real-time verifiable savings for water consumption.

Aiming for growth in the international market
The cooperation between Smartvatten and EnerKey offers a new channel for large-scale growth in the international market. In the first phase the cooperation with Smartvatten and Powered by EnerKey will take place in the Norwegian and Swedish markets, where EnerKey is making strong progress by offering the Powered by EnerKey platform solution as a tool for sustainable energy management for energy companies’ corporate customers.
