Smartvatten has joined the GRESB Partner Program as a Premier Partner. The partnership solidifies the course Smartvatten has pursued from the beginning: to become a leading player in water efficiency services, and one that’s here to stay.

The GRESB organization provides a standardized and validated way to determine the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance of real estate and infrastructure and shares that data with the capital markets. It is the leading ESG benchmark for real estate and infrastructure investments around the world. And it actively recognizes the importance of responsible use of water.

An organization like GRESB is able to systematically chart and evaluate ESG performance at the portfolio level. “And when you really want to move forward with sustainability in real estate, you need that centralized insight,” Twisk says. “Implementing sustainable measures on an ad hoc basis is great, but you’re not able to see the bigger picture. You want to be able to see how efficient your performance is, what the effects are of your efforts and how you’re developing.”

Unlike for some portals, the data does not need to be simplified: Smartvatten’s highly detailed by-the-minute data can be directly transmitted and processed.
